What happened?

What kind of damage are you dealing with?

Most calls to RestoreX start with one of five problems: water from a pipe, appliance or the unit upstairs; a fire and the smoke it leaves; mold where moisture sat too long; a sewage backup; or a scene that needs biohazard cleanup. Pick yours to see what we do and what you can do right now.

From our job sites

What does the work actually look like?

Wet crawlspaces, mold behind a shower wall, a bedroom sealed in plastic while the floor dries. These are RestoreX’s own photos from real jobs, not stock images. They show the part of restoration nobody sees in a finished room: finding the water, opening what’s wet and drying it properly.

Wall opened next to a shower pan showing black mold, rotted wood and rust stains from a long-term leak

Services

What restoration services does RestoreX offer?

Ten services cover what goes wrong in a building and what it takes to put it back. Six of them, below, are where most jobs start. Odor removal, emergency board-up, contents pack-out and crawlspace and attic cleaning round out the list, and any of them can be part of the same job.

How it works

What happens after you call RestoreX?

The job moves in four stages, and the same company handles each one. First the call, then a crew on site to stop the damage. Next comes measured drying and cleaning, with photos and readings kept for your insurer. Last is the rebuild, so you never have to find a second contractor to finish what the first one opened.

1

Call

Call (844) 623-3946. Tell us what happened, where, and whether it’s still leaking or open to the weather.

2

Stop it

Water extracted, openings boarded, contaminated areas contained, so the damage stops spreading.

3

Dry & document

Moisture readings guide the drying. Photos and notes record what was wet and what came out.

4

Rebuild

Walls, floors and finishes go back in under our California B license, then a final walkthrough.

FAQ

Restoration Questions, Answered

The questions people ask us most. Don’t see yours? Call and ask.

Turn off the water at the fixture or the main shutoff, keep people away from wet ceilings and light fixtures, and move what you can out of the drip line. If you live in a condo or apartment, tell the manager so the unit above gets checked. Then call (844) 623-3946 and we’ll walk you through the next steps.

Yes. Our phone is answered around the clock, every day of the year, holidays included. If water is still coming in or a door or window is broken open, call (844) 623-3946 instead of sending the form.

We clean up and repair property damage: water, fire and smoke, mold, sewage backups and biohazards, plus odor removal, board-up, contents pack-out and crawlspace and attic cleanup. When the damage is out, our crews can do the rebuild too, so one company carries the job from start to finish.

RestoreX was co-founded by Manny Gomez, the company’s CEO, and Nory King, its CFO. It’s a locally owned California LLC with a main office in Petaluma and a second office in Hayward.

That’s your insurance company’s call, based on your policy and what caused the damage. We photograph the damage, record moisture readings and write up the scope, and we’ll go over it with your adjuster. In California, negotiating a claim for you is a job for a licensed public adjuster, not a contractor.

Our main office is at 450 Lakeville Street, Suite D, in Petaluma. Our East Bay office is in Hayward. Between the two we cover Sonoma, Marin, Napa and Solano counties, the East Bay, San Francisco, the Peninsula and the South Bay.
